Prepare Academically for Florence

A quarter—or more—in Florence profoundly enhances students’ academic and personal growth across disciplines.  The sections below outline some of the ways in which the Program supports each major through site-based learning, interdisciplinary perspectives, and access to distinctive local resources.  Additionally, students have the option to further enrich their academic experience by enrolling in classes at local institutions. Florence courses also fulfill a wide range of WAYS requirements.
